How to record your presentation and share it as a link
Present once, reach everyone who wasn’t in the room: Tchaku records your presentation — slides, animations, and your camera bubble — and turns it into a link anyone can watch in a browser. Decks share the same way, as animated web links, no file attachments.
Turn on the camera bubble
In Present mode, enable the presenter camera — a movable, resizable bubble of you over the slides. It works on desktop and in the browser; recording the talk needs the desktop app (macOS or Windows).
Record the talk
Start recording from the Present controls. Tchaku captures the presented slides and your camera together using your computer’s native screen recording — end the talk and the recording is ready to share.
Share as a link
Share uploads the recording (or the deck itself) and gives you a watch link — recipients open it in the browser, animations intact, nothing to install. Every link you publish is listed under Shared links in your dashboard.
See who watched
Pro shows viewer analytics per link: opens, unique viewers, completion rate, and how far into the deck viewers got, slide by slide.
Questions
- Can viewers download the deck from a share link?
- A deck link plays the deck in the browser; it isn’t a file download. Send the .tch or an export if you want to hand over the source.
- Can I turn a link off later?
- Links are yours — remove one and it stops resolving. Analytics history stays in your account.
